Weather:

Today is looking a little mixed, with sunny spells intertwined with cloudy periods and precipitation developing throughout the day. There are even up to 5 centimetres of snow due overnight in town.
The wind in town will be moderate and prevailing from the SouthEast, however at altitude gusts are due to increase as the day goes on, and may reach up to 80kmh on some peaks.
Températures are looking towards a mild 7 degrees, and at 9 o'clock were sitting at 5 degrees in town, -1 on Bellevarde and -4 on the Pisaillas glacier.

Ski Report:
After the wild snow we had the other day the resort is still only partially open, and the avalanche risk sits at 3/5 so danger is stil prevalent.

Starting in Le Fornet sector, pistes foret, signal, and tunnel are closed, we are waiting to hear from  the telepheriques staff regarding ther Laisinant chair and therefore pistes Table d'orientation and Arrolay which depend on that chair. The Up and Over chair is closed for now, but the rest is open today.

On the Pissaillas Glacier, everything should open laer this morning except the T Bar and therefore piste Montets.

Up in Solaise the 3000 is still closed, and so is the up and over chair and therefore the piste Leissieres and Route du Col. The Laisinant traverse is also closed today as is Cugnia, Arcelle and Marmottons. Pistes S and L may open later. Ecureuil the ski touring trail is also closed.

As for Bellevarde, the bottom of pistes OK Orange, G and Joseray are closed, the Epaule du Charvet is closed but there is now enough snow for Santons to be open. The touring trail Brinzei going up from La Daille is still closed.

Some of the walking trails are open, including Col d l'Iseran, Pont St Charles, Lac de l'Ouillette, Manchet and Marmots.
The cross country trails are not open today.

The avalanche risk is 3/5, We highly recommend you do not go off piste after the metre of snow we have had, the snow is incredibly unstable and dangerous. The pistes will be fantastic so its a good idea to stay there for now.
Please do take extra care. We will keep you updated regarding openings throughout the morning. I think what youll all mostly be listening for is the up and over chiar, which is closed for now.

Road Conditions:

The latest safety measures put in place in recent days due to the avalanche situation were lifted last night at 6 p.m. They mainly concern the safety instructions related to buildings. The roads to Fornet and Chatelard are now open to all traffic.

This morning, the roads were clear.
