SKI REPORT
For the most up-to-date information please click here.
Here are the highlights of the ski report.
Nearly everything is open and
Most pistes were groomed last night.
Only 1 lift and 2 pistes will be closed all day.
Quick skip through the exceptions.
ON BELLEVARDE
The Raye and the upper parts of the OK and Orange
will be closed this morning for training.
There is a competition in the Snow Park from 13.30.
Go and show off, win a prize.
This was originally scheduled for yesterday,
but the weather meant it wouldn’t have been safe.
The Epaule du Charvet was completely groomed.
Do consider your competence before tackling our black runs.
We have steeper, deeper, more “complex” blacks than in many other resorts.
The Brinzei touring track has not been groomed for a couple of days.
ON SOLAISE
The 3000 lift and piste are closed.
The Cugnai, S, Marmottons
And the Ecureuil touring track were not groomed.
LE FORNET
Everything is open except the Tunnel.
The Foret, Petit Bois and Signal were not groomed.
ON PISAILLAS
Everything is open and only the Combe du Geant was not groomed.
Everything is open and groomed on the Nursery slope,
including the tobogganing area.
The avalanche risk today is 2 out of 5.
Low not no risk.
There are still slabs out there which might not take you far,
but a fast ride over rocks, or a cliff, would hurt.
If tempted to ski off piste, look closely at your group.
When did they last practice with their beep, probe and shovel.
Assuming they all have all three.
Listen to any doubts…Stay on piste or book to ski with a mountain guide.
If you are going to Tignes where the skiing is almost as good as Val,
use the Tommeuse or Borsat chairlifts.
All of our walking, multi activity and cross country tracks are open.
If you have a dog remember that we are very lucky to have beautiful walks
where they can run free.
Please respect this privilege.
Always pick up the poo.
You can get fined for leaving it behind.
