A cold air mass will set up in the local area this morning. Our mountains will be engulfed by cloud cover, with light snowfall throughout the day, bringing us an additional 1-2 cm of snow. At higher elevations, we can expect a light North-Westerly wind.
Later this afternoon, there is a chance of a break in the clouds, as conditions will generally clear up towards the end of the day. Today in the village we can expect a top of 1 degree.
Ski Patrol will be carrying out an Avalanche Control program across the morning. As a result, some lifts and parts of the ski area will have a delayed opening. Both uphill and downhill traffic are asked to respect all closures and wait until ski patrol reopen the terrain.
