

Weather:
We're expecting overcast, mild and stormy conditions today, remaining dry for a few hours this morning, but rain is due to spread into the mountains later with a freezing point at around 2,300m.
Throughout the day gusts will reach 70 km/h at 3000 meters. Currently up on Pisaillas, it is gusting up to 30 km per hour.
We have a mild morning inbound, it is sitting at 3°C in the village, and -1.5°C at the top of Bellevarde, and -5°C up at Pisaillas. Today we are looking towards a maximum temperature of +7°C in the village.
Roads:
The road is mostly clear. However, icy patches can still be found on the sidewalks, those with limited mobility should be cautious and consider crampons to move around town.
This weekend, our very own Ken Caillot took on the World Cup races in Kitzbühel, Austria. On Friday, in the Super-G, Ken finished in 41st place, about 3 seconds off the winner. Then, on Saturday, Ken raced in the Downhill, where he was again successful placing 44th.
Over in Pelvoux on Saturday, Diego Bonnevie had an impressive showing in the French Ski Mountaineering Cup. He came in 2nd place overall in the Vertical Race. Diego’s next races are set for February, so we wish him the best of luck, and stay tuned.
It’s official, Clément Noël makes history! He becomes the most decorated French skier in World Cup slalom! Noel has now won his fourteenth World Cup victory in his discipline, surpassing Jean-Noël Augert, who has 13 victories.
His teammate from the Alps, Victor Muffat Jeandet, also had a strong performance in this event, finishing 19th in the rankings. After 5 years of absence, Kitzbühel is back on the agenda.
The Face of Bellevarde is hosting one of its first-ever night training sessions. Croatian junior world champion Zrinka Ljutic has been training in slalom there since yesterday and will continue until this evening in preparation for the World Cup event taking place on Thursday in Courchevel. The world champion had already won the Scara U14 race in Val d’Isère. It’s possible to watch her final training on the Face of Bellevarde this evening between 5 PM and 7 PM.
If you’re a fellow powder fan and keen to brush up on off-piste safety, head to the Maison de Val at 6 PM for a free conference on "Snow and Off-Piste Safety." Franck Paragot, a trainer with the National Snow and Avalanche Study Association, will be leading the session. It's a great opportunity to learn about avalanche risk and mountain safety. Bear in mind it will be in French, but I will certainly be attending, and I recommend you do too!

- The Red Shuttle will be circulating between La Daille and the Fornet every 5 minutes from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and then every 10 minutes until 2:30 a.m.
- A free shuttle runs between the Pont St Charles and the Fornet, every half hour, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- The Yellow shuttle, up to the Manchet Valley, leaves every 20 minutes between 8:30 a.m. and 11:20 p.m.
- The Blue shuttle going up to the Legattaz is every 15 minutes between 8:30 a.m and 11 p.m.
- The free shuttle between Tignes and Val d'Isère runs 6 times a day :
