The 'numbers' are measured between Albertville and Moutiers so not all of these vehicles are coming to Val but 73,000 are approaching, and 69,000 heading home.
To add spice into the mix, snow is predicted as low as 800 metres, so to a level just above Bourg St Maurice.
For those heading downhill, the times to avoid are

In the final day of The Golden Squirrel Championship, we didn't have any of our talented locals competing, but the slalom on the Raye was won by Cassandre Peizerat, from Tignes.
Congratulations Cassandre.
It is thanks to the close cooperation between the 3 resorts that so many skiers could take part this week.
In total, the resorts of Val d’Isere, Tignes and St Foy welcomed 114 girls and 167 boys over the 4 days of Slaloms, Giant Slaloms and Super G races.
The Golden Squirrels have their next races from 13th to 16th March at Grand Bornard et La Clusaz.
Our Sports Club will be holding its AGM in just over a month, on Wednesday 13th March at 18.00.
