For Arrivals: Traffic is expected to be difficult from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Departures: Delays are expected from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It may be worth delaying your departure until this afternoon if possible.
Tomorrow should be smooth for arrivals, but those heading home could face delays between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
For the weekend, traffic will be very busy, with an estimated 75,000 vehicles arriving and 78,000 departing in the Tarentaise region.

News:

RN 90 Roadworks

Following the landslide on February 1st in the Gorges de Ponserand, road crews will be carrying out rock-clearing work to remove debris still caught in the protective nets. This is part of ongoing safety improvements, including the installation of high-protection barriers designed to stop falling rocks with a force of up to 8,000 kJ.
To allow this work to take place, the RN 90 which is the road to Val d’isere from albertville will be closed this Wednesday, February the h, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, in the Albertville – Moûtiers direction. The road will be blocked at the RECITA traffic lights near Exit 38 (Aigueblanche), which will also be closed.

Tourism & Occupancy Rate

We’re well into the third week of the holiday season, and the resort is buzzing! The occupancy rate stands at 90.9%, with over 111,000 overnight stays recorded.
The Val d’Isère Tourism Office, working with the Economic Observatory, has released its first season report. So far, it’s been an excellent February, and the final week of the month is shaping up to be just as busy. Great news for tourism, but it will continue to feel busy on the pistes.

Literary Event
Last night, acclaimed writer Valérie Perrin met with fans at Crazy Barm’s to discuss her latest novel, Tata. Around 60 people attended the event, where she shared insights into her inspirations, her writing process, and her love for cinema and music—including her meeting with her husband, director Claude Lelouch.

Tonight at 7:00 PM, author Miguel Bonnefoy will be at Crazy Barm’s to present his award-winning novel, Le rêve du Jaguar, which won the Prix Femina and the Grand Prix du Roman from the Académie Française.
His book tells the powerful story of his grandparents—his grandfather, who rose from poverty in Venezuela to become a leading surgeon, and his grandmother, who became the first female doctor in her region. More than just a family history, it’s a story of perseverance and ambition.
Join us tonight at 7:00 PM for this final literary event of the month at Crazy Barm’s.
