Be careful, especially if you feel you know le Fornet well.
The start of the Mangard has changed.
Slow down !!
There is a significant cross roads.
If your pass covers Tignes
Use it !
The skiing there is also good.
You can get there via either the Tommeuses or the Borsat chairlifts.
The avalanche risk today is 2 out of 5
Lower because the easiest to access slopes are either well tracked or have already avalanched.
So entrepid ski tourers, take extra care !
Before you plod, slide or climb into areas,
where the risk is much higher.
Before venturing off our marked pistes,
Look carefully at your team :
Could they ALL use their beep, probe and shovel
To dig YOU out quickly ??
Could ANY of them ??
Check your insurance covers off piste
which is any area outside of the marked pistes,
even a small area between two pistes.
For Cross country skiers

In the Manchet valley.
Walkers have a good choice of 9 paths.
If you have a dog,
